Pingwin

Meaning:

Lit. “a penguin”. Apart from the obvious meaning, the word is sometimes used to refer to nuns, either jokingly or with a contempt. Or sometimes both, if possible.

It is not treated as an insult but still, would not be very much welcome by catholic bishops or nuns themselves. The origins of the expression lie with the black-and-white clothing preferred by some orders.

Examples:

Lepsze to, niż słuchanie bajeczek o postaciach fikcyjnych.
