Also: “Sebiks”, “Seba”, the latter being a contraction/diminutive form of the male given name “Sebastian”, is a derogatory designation for a male low-intelligence, low-class, low-income scum of the streets.
A “Sebix” is the guy most people considering themselves cultured and successful look down upon. According to the stereotype, he is bald, dressed in sportswear and a baseball cap, has a limited vocabulary and limited aims for life: an old second-hand BMW car, some alcohol and other drugs every day and a girlfriend (a “Karyna”) sharing his hobbies. Such a loser often steals from others, commits other crimes, makes noise with his car during the night. He might also attend football matches which serves him as a platform for expressing hate towards other fans, the police, the society in general. He might also be a dumb nationalist, without any understanding of politics or ideology, but always happy to bitch about foreigners, other cultures and religions. People considering themselves elites are often happy to call a “Sebix” those not progressive enough.
As with Janusz, it is a pretty standard name that is used for a stereotypical type of person.
