Meaning:
Lit. “a boil on the ass” is someone or something extremely inconvenient, annoying and hence unwelcome.
This expression is the Polish counterpart of the English “pain in the ass” or German “Stachel im Fleisch”. A thing or a being that relentlessly makes your live miserable.
On top of this, it is often user in the set phrase: “potrzebne mi to jak wrzód na dupie” – about whatever you don’t need or even want to avoid at all cost.
Examples:
Lech Kaczyński był jak wrzód na dupie Putina. Uniemożliwił mu zajęcie Gruzji, chciał uniezależnić nasz kraj od rosyjskiego gazu, domagał sie odtajnienia akt ws mordu katyńskiego.
CPK jest potrzebny jak wrzód na dupie!!! Za kilka lat koleje dużej prędkości zdominują całą EUROPĘ i będzie szybko i ekologicznie. CPK im. Jarosława Zbawiciela nie powstanie tak jak dwie wieże 🙁
